Just curious...is there a time during the trading day when you say it's too late for stock xyz to go green? I mean, if it's been red all day, but pops to green at 2:30pm, will you go in?

I'm using a mechanical entry with trade trigger, so entry will execute regardless of time of day.
And that's exactly what happened today with BWTR, when I left for work it was way down and I was thinking no way this trade is going to be executed. I was very surprised to find the trade executed when I got back.
I had actually forgot to enter the exit market on close order. We'll see if my little mistake is going to turn out in my favor tomorrow. I'm going to tighten up the stop and let it ride.
Another example is on Apr. 4 GROW was selected as a short. It was up over 5% most of the day when it suddenly nosedived and ended the day down over 5%.
I really like using mechanical entry and exits, no decision making required on my part is good for me because I'm not disciplined enough to make the same decision every time, i.e., many times I've talked myself out of a trade and end up regretting it.
A great opportunity in SWC, which had been battered down 25% in 4 days by a desperate concentrated short who is unable to unwind its huge short position. Expect some great resersal tomorrow because this is one absolutely oversold stock with very bullish fundamentals.
